Well, we do develop it on 32-bit linux x86 boxes, and we run it on ARM
and MIPS linux systems, so it should be a fairly safe bet :)

One of our design philosophies is that the core serval component
(servald) should have zero external dependencies, and use only posix
functionality, so that $(CC) -o servald *.c should work on as many
systems as possible.

Grab the source from github.com/servalproject/serval-dna

The "development" branch is probably the one you want for tinkering.
See the tests/ directory for a pile of automated tests that will also
give you clues on how to use it.
Otherwise, poke me or serval-project-developers Google group if you
hit any snags.

Super -- this is exactly my feeling as well :)
Do feel free to report any issues you hit, so that we can make Rhizome
and Serval more useful to more projects.
