[Commotion-discuss] using a wireless gateway for a commotion router

Check this product out. As long as the electrical lines in the office are
on the same circuit (and they probably are), you can use the copper wires
to transmit encrypted data between these two powerline adapters. This will
eliminate the need to run ethernet across the store. They also transmit on
speeds above 100mbps so they won't be the bottleneck if you're using
Ubiquiti devices with 100mb ethernet interfaces. Just plug them in to an
outlet at the same time, hold the button, and they automatically find and
encrypt traffic. Even if you unplug them and plug them back in, they
maintain their connections. Just plug in Ethernet to each and then into the
gateway and the access point and it will act just like you plugged an
ethernet cable straight into the device.
