Ralph Nader and 21st Century U.S. Politics

On Monday, October 30th, University of Illinois Professor Robert McChesney
will speak on Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader and his role in
the formation of U.S. politics in the 21st century.    Songwriter Paul
Kotheimer will provide a musical introduction.  McChesney's most recent books
is Rich Media, Poor Democracy, an exploration of the impact of the corporate
media on public life.  The event, sponsored by the Prairie Green Party, will
take place from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Main Lounge of Allen Hall, 1005 Gregory
