Champaign-Urbana Blues Music Fans,

The Black Keys with Nathaniel Mayer are playing this weekend:
   * Sat Dec 3 @ Highdive
   * 7:30- 8:10pm  Nathaniel Mayer
   * 8:30-10:00pm  The Black Keys

This is one of the rare blues shows we will get in town,
and it should be a special one.  Please let the doorperson
and/or the owners know if you want Highdive to go smokefree.
Unfortunately, I'll be in St. Louis.

I saw a couple of interesting bands recently, including the Black Keys with
Nathaniel Mayer.  Although I was primarily interested in seeing Mayer, the
Keys were quite good.  They have been getting a lot of positive press (easy
to find reviews on the web via the site http://www.topix.net/  Just enter
Black Keys in the search box at the top) and are worth checking out.  Lisa
seems to think they are your kind of band, and I agree they used to be.  I
see they are coming to Champaign.
