Hi Dan and CU Smokefree Alliance:

So very sorry to hear about the bad weather destroying your tent. I know
many of you are sad about this outcome. And I share your sadness as well. I
spent 12 years living in Champaign Urbana and since I left I have forgotten the
inhospitalble climatic eccentricities of that area.

Yet, to me it is very significant to say that the fact that the CU Smokefree
Alliance had a tent and maintined an active presence at the festival even in
the midst of such inhospitable weather, is illustrative of the depth and
committment of CU Smokefree Alliance's to bring clean indoor air to the twin cities
and to benefit thousands of local residents and visitors in the process.

So, my heart goes out to Dan and to the rest of the CU Smokefree Alliance
volunteers for their devotion and commitment to bring clean indoor air to the
Twin Cities.
