[C-U Smokefree] Meeting tonight

Please remember that we have a meeting tonight from 6-7pm in the
Gillespie Conference room in the Carle Forum.

For this meeting we ideally need the following information.

Cost of ads (of different sizes) in:
News-Gazette
DI (not an issue til Fall, but we should know)
The Hub
The Paper
WEFT Review 
Anything else...

It might also be interesting to know the price of billboards if someone
can get it.

Cost of printing and premiums. The following is the text of an email
from Tara about the outfit in Rantoul that we discussed at the last
meeting:

Scott, This is the information on the merchandising company that we
often use.  Tell them to ask for Christie Dahlin or Sam Schiff.  Sam's
family owns the business and Christie is the sales rep.  Both are
wonderful and so accommodating.

They create premiums, etc.

In addition, I used to have a "premium" catalog (pens, pencils, water
bottles and such), but I don't now.  Does anyone have one?

I can't really make these calls today. So we need volunteers!

These prices MUST NOT be speculations, hunches, best guesses,
hypotheses, prognostications, or "here's what they charged us last
time." We need real costs to make effective decisions and suggestions
back to ICAT about how we would like to proceed.

We also need to think strategically about our message and our goals with
each and every expenditure - more on that later. For now, we need real
costs.
