[C-U Smokefree] Meeting and Sweetcorn Fest

HI to all!
 
Just a quick reminder of the meeting tonight at Parkland.  This will be in Room L159 (just to the right of the front entrance) at 5:30.  A Subway sandwich tray will be provided. There is lots going on right now, so come and get an update on the latest and find a way you can help.  All are welcome!
 
We STILL are in need of volunteers for the Sweetcorn Festival this weekend.  Please contact me and or Nikki Hillier at Public Health (nhillier at cuphd.org) and volunteer for a one or two hour slot.
 
Reminder: The Blind Pig is still doing a Smokefree Happy Hour every Tuesday and is considering dropping it due to lack of interest.  We may be doing more formal soon, but for now, remember to try to stop by on Tuesday evenings (5-9 pm) for a smokefree quality brew! We need to show that the community supports more smokefree options like this one!
 
Final reminder: Champaign City Council Study Session September 13 at 7 pm.  Be sure it is on your calendars!
