It is often said that everyone has an opinion and everyone vies to have her/his opinion heard, and there is truth to that. It's good to hear and to listen to the other point of view that Mr. Gray is so pationately embracing.

But serious opinion must be well researched and backed with the necessary scientific facts (and there is an overwhelming volume of them in the case of the deleterious effects of second hand smoke exposure)--something Mr. Gray ignores. So why did he write what he did, and how can we (advocates for the dstribution of good health resources and preventive medicine policies) take what he wrote seriously?

Mr. Gray may have reasons to write what he did to feel good about the position he promotes--a position that embraces the death and destruction of other people's lives in the name of some undefined and unfounded platform that lacks scientific evidence, economic evidence, and common sense. If he wishes to harass the CU SmokeFree Alliance's members by what he wrote, he can get his kicks by directing his desire to harass elsewhere.

While Mr. Gray's view must be ignored, the advocates need to be prepared to respond to such views in the context of public/community forums and other platforms of public debate--which I am sure the Alliance's members are prepared and ready to do.

It amazes me that Nazis are allowed protection under the bill of rights
intended for real Americans. I'm looking forward to a time when all of you
bastards are rounded up and sent to some place special.
