[Cu-wireless] kernel problem (i think)

on PB it detects the floppy drive saying
fdc0 at isa0 port ..... irq 6 drq 2
fd0 at fdc0 drive 0: 1.44MB 18 cyl 2 head 16 sec
and then stops.

on dell after detecting the floppy drive, it says

fdc0 at isa0 port ..... irq 6 drq 2
fd0 at fdc0 drive 0: 1.44MB 18 cyl 2 head 16 sec
IpSec:Initialized Security Association Processing
boot device : fd0
root on cd0a dumps on cd0b
and goes on

however if i remove the floppy drive on PB, it does not detect the floppy
ofcourse but then it stops on the step before the detecting the floppy drive
which is
fdc0 at isa0 port ..... irq 6 drq 2
