Greets all,

The Urbana K-Mart is going out of business; all items are reduced 10%-30%. While I was there today I saw that they still had some Compact Flash cards (mostly 16 Meg) for a markdown price of ~$15 plus an additional 20% off (final price ~$12). Also 64 MB SmartMedia and MMC cards were selling for around $24-32. Would any of these be useful to the Soekris hackers in the group? CD-Rs were on sale as well, but I didn't price them, as I already have more than I need for the time being.

Other computer equipment of interest were Philips-Magnavox TOSlink digital audio fiber optic cables, inkjet printer cartridges (some HP), universal car DC adapters, canned compressed air for $4, digital video tapes and a plethora of cell phone peripherals. Palm Pilots went for less than $75, not to mention digital cameras, deep discounts on Cell phones, etc.

I'd recommend getting there soon, if you want any of the spoils, as items are flying off of the shelves.

later,

Mark
