[1] The Champaign-Urbana Community Wireless Network project adds
additional support: This mesh/cloud open-source project [2] profiled here
a few weeks ago now supports Atheros cards, and has ported their software
to work on the Soekris 4526, a solid-state platform that can handle its
hardware needs. Downloads are available immediately of the new software.
