[CUWiN] CUWiN and IPv6

The $100 laptop computer being developed by Nicholas Negroponte is supposed to
run on Linux and include mesh wireless capabilities.

A weakness that has been identified in the RFP for Wireless Philadelphia is
the lack of support for security and encryption of communications.

I understand that IPv6 has end-to-end encryption as a builtin part of the
standard. It seems like IPv6, with its enhanced support for security, as
well as its larger address space and native support for QoS, would benefit
the $100 laptop and muni-wireless projects.

Does that sound right, and how does IPv6 fit into the plans for CUWiN?

John Kintree
