OPN nodes are one-shot repeaters (i.e., they bridge between two nodes that 
coordinate to pass information through the intermediary OPN node). 
however, one could do something like:

nodeA --> OPN node --> nodeB --> OPN node --> nodeC

if nodes A, B, and C can all coordinate with each other.
