Hi Kalpana:

While serving as Director of Strategy and Development at CTCNet during
Hurricane Katrina and afterwards, I gathered information on the efforts of
our members who were active in the response and we helped to keep
information circulating among them and on the CTCNet email list (with help
from CTCNet ED Kavita Singh and then-Director of Policy Ryan Turner. (I'm
now living and working in Chile and no longer affiliated with CTCNet --
though I'm still a big fan.)

Separately I'll send you a hodgepodge of documents that list a number of
efforts and some contact information. It's a little hard to tell from my
Katrina folder what the final documents were, but you're free to look
through them to find anything that would help. Some of the documents relate
to what CTCNet was proposing to do to support those efforts in a more
intensive way -- that never happened because we weren't able to raise
funding during the quick time period we would have needed it.

I'll also cc some members who were particularly active during and after
Katrina, so they know you're looking for this information:
* Will Reed, ED, TechforAll
* Angela Stuber, former ED, OCCN/current ED, Grassroots.org
* Bill Callahan, ED, Cleveland Digital Vision
* Danny Perry, ED, TechCorps-Texas
* Tram Nguyen, BPSOS Katrina Relief Program Manager
* Nicole Friedman, ED, Center for Neighborhood Technology
* David Geilhufe, President, Social Source Foundation
* Dee Albitton, ED, FastForward
* Xavier Leonard, ED, Heads on Fire
* Al Browne, Former VP, Community Preservation and Development Corp.

Feel free to write back if any of the info in the documents is unclear.

--John
