They do mention somewhere on the site that they are unable to obtain full
specifications at this point.  But I do understand what you are saying.
Having recently tried to raise a few million dollars, I have gained a sudden
appreciation that there is hundreds of thousands of dollars of effort in
creating documents required to get traction at the next higher level.

I think it is helpful to view their efforts from a more general perspective:
If we are ever going to get any satellite, then there is a pile of
documentation and business plans that need to be written if we are ever
going to get the kind of capital required to do it.  Philanthropists want to
see their money used to maximum effect, and are just as hot on this kind of
documentation as commercial interests.

But I still hear you, and agree that more information, or at least
explanation of lack of information, even if it is buried somewhere, would be
nice.
