As I wrote to henning already, if you want to I can set up a list in 3 mins.
It is no issue at all to set up another list.

the owner of bug82 domain should then point "lists.bug82..."'s MX and A record to the server.

Are you fine with that?
I prefer to host stuff on independent - community maintained servers - than on google's servers.
Guess that's a matter of principles.
