If you're considering using a RasPi as your hardware platform, I'd
suggest pinging ag4ve on the #byzantium Freenode IRC channel.  One of
the projects he's working on is a port of Byzantium Linux to the
RasPi, and he might have some information on the process you'll find
helpful.
