The Kentler International Drawing Space in Red Hook, Brooklyn, will be
presenting an exhibition of the computer graphics of Herbert Brün this Fall.
The show will open on Friday, September 10, and run through October 16,
2004. There will be an opening reception from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Friday,
September 10.

The Kentler gallery will also be sponsoring a two-day symposium devoted to
the graphics, music, and writings of Herbert Brün. On Friday, September 17,
at 8 P.M., the Kentler, in conjunction with New York's ThreeTwo Festival,
will present a concert featuring performances of several of Brün's graphic
musical scores. On Saturday, September 18, the gallery will host an
eight-hour series of panel discussions and lectures devoted to Brün's
drawings, music, political philosophy, and his use of computers in
composition. We hope to provide the New York art audience with a
comprehensive introduction to Brün's work while affording those already
familiar with it the opportunity to engage in a lively critical debate.
