[Imc-events] Experimental Music Concert--Saturday

Experimental music concert at the Independent Media Center, 218 West Main, Urbana

New York artist Jay Christopher and composer/guitarist Mario Diaz de Leon will present a concert of collaborative experimental music.

The collaborative artwork of the two has taken diverse shapes over the last several years.  The duo express themselves in the framework of
contemporary chamber music with video and taped elements, theatrical bedroom "sets", improvisational performance art, multiple-city interlaced and interactive "game" installations that abstracts the logic of fantasy video games and game theory, short films, and sculpture.

For this performance they will present a series of works composed in the last two years for live instruments, video, and electronics.

The event starts at 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 21st.  A $5 donation is requested.
