[Imc-events] Human Rights Night--LGBTQ Civil Rights

On July 24 at 7 PM, the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center's Human Rights Night features a presentation and discussion on the topic of civil 
rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered individuals.  85% Coalition members Mary Lee Sargent, Kim Kranich, Lori Serb, who were recently arrested in direct action protests for gay rights, and Meg Miner, 
a 16-year veteran of the Air Force, will give a presentation on the history and current status of this issue and facilitate a discussion on the topic.  The Independent Media Center is located at 218 West Main Street in downtown Urbana.  For more information, call the UCIMC at 344-8820.
