Human Rights Night--November 13th at IMC

On Tuesday, November 13th at 7 pm,  author and activist Carol Spindel will present her perspectives on racism and representations of Native Americans as part of the IMC's Human Rights Night series.  Carol Spindel, best known for her book on Chief Illiniwek, "Dancing at Halftime," is a member of Women Against Racism, a local group working towards the abolition of the Chief.  Carol Spindel will present at the Independent Media Center, 218 West Main in downtown Urbana.  For more information, contact the IMC at 344-8820.
