[Imc-events] Groove Yard concert at IMC

On Friday, November 30 at 8 pm, the jazz quartet Groove Yard will be playing at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center.  They play small combo jazz a la Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, Horace Silver, Thelonius Monk, as well as originals and have appeared in many venues locally as well as being featured on the WEFT Sessions. The line-up of the band is:

Doug Schroer, harmonica
Paul Freedman, guitar
Rob Hammond, bass
Michael Powers, drums
