The Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center (UC-IMC), in conjunction
with The Canopy Club and The Paper, is celebrating three years of
Indymedia in the twin cities with IMCfest at the Canopy Club on August
30th from 1pm-1am. This festival will be a fundraiser for the UC-IMC
Capital Campaign. 100% of the money collected at the door will go
directly to the IMC.

IMCfest will be a multimedia event featuring 16 bands on two stages,
two feature length independent films, a 'zine reading, and activist
speakers. Music groups at the fest will range in styles from folk to
rock to punk.
