Odd Music Convergence Presents Microtonal Music When: 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm,

Odd Music Convergence presents Microtonal Music playing a Post Classical
performance. Oddmusic U-C is building a library of unusual and usualmusical
instruments at the UC-IMC and facilitates events to connect experimental
composition, microtonality, & instrument-building with radical social
change. We insist upon “music” as a type of “odd,” desirable when it avoids
the same old society telling itself what it already knows. Join us in the
main space of the IMC on August 14 at 8pm to hear new works on new
instruments and new premises—overtures to participation. Donations will help
us fund future coincidences.

IMC Summer Skillshare When: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 15th 2009

The IMC Summer Skillshare is a series of Saturday workshops where people
share their knowledge with others free of charge. The IMC Summer Skillshares
will be held 8/1, 8/8, 8/15, and 8/22 from 11-2pm and will culminate with a
day-long Skillshare on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009. Workshop topics will be
published for each Saturday soon!

*Bike Project, Open Hours & Bike Sales When: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Wednesday, 6
- 9 pm Thursday, 2 - 5 pm Saturday and Sunday, and 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm Monday
Where: UC-IMC Room 24, Lower Level. Entrance on south side of building; go
down outside stairs to basement entrance.

Workshop open hours and bike sales. Work on your own bicycle repairs /
builds, ask questions, or help out others! Your first visit to our teaching
repair shop is free; after this, membership in The Bike Project is required.
Repaired, ready-to-ride bikes are available for sale to the public at
affordable prices. Bike Project members have the additional choice of our
Build-a-Bike program: wider bike selection, even lower prices, and great
do-it-yourself bike-repair experience.
