All ages. All levels. Bring your instrument and/or your voice and at least
one original song to this safe and supportive group. We can respond or just
listen; it's up to you!

Songwriter’s Circle is part of the IMC's 8:15 local talent series on
Wednesday nights. (8-15:10-15)

*Champaign Urbana **Folk & Roots Festival **(Nov. 4-5)*



CU Folk and Roots Festival will be held in and around Downtown Urbana on
November 4th and 5th, 2011. There will be shows at the IMC on Friday
November 4th from 6pm until 11:30pm.


On Saturday November 5th there will be workshops, performances and a green
room for performers and volunteers in the sunroom.

*Transgender Day of Remembrance Concert*

The UP Center of Champaign County in partnership with the University of
Illinois LGBTQ Resource Center is hosting a concert featuring Coyote Grace
in celebration of the transgender community as a part of their remembrance
activities.

The sultry trio is armed with a bevy of acoustic instruments from guitar
and upright bass to banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and accordion.

They are combined with a humble, warm stage presence, all-stemming from a
history of self-invention –and re-invention.
