Could we brainstorm about this together sometime? Id love to get involved
in that sort of initiative/collaboration, but I'm not sure what sorts of
things I could help with, demonstration wise or workshop wise - but if
nothing else I'll offer myself as a volunteer if you need an extra maker
for anything.

collaboration long term, but wondered if members would be able to come
present about the Makerspace. Good opportunity to promote makerfaire too.

in mind. I'm wondering if a good introduction for our teens to the IMC
would be if some of the maker space folks came to the library and demo'd
some of the project kits that we discussed. We could just take an hour or
so to talk about what the maker space is, why the kits were developed, etc.
Alternately, I could just bring a small group of teens over to see the
maker space and the radio station, etc. as we originally discussed. Please
let me know if any of these ideas would work, or if there was something
else that made more sense from your end.

>> Incidentally, after our meeting last week I was approached by the
library director to discuss the library's future in terms of partnership
and community building, and it seems that we may have good support for our
initiative. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks, Chris- talk with you
