As I have been very involved with the Champaign school district (and to a
lesser degree, Urbana), this topic caught my eye. Especially since Unit 4
(Champaign) is considering plans to build a new high school in the next few
years, this could be a really cool tie-in.

I know our local Makerspace has plans to grow and expand. Are those plans
compatible with goals set out by this article? I must confess, I am not
fully conversant on all the uses of "MAKE" and "Makerspace".
