So, we have a pile of computers in the Makerspace which came from Parkland.

Is there a plan to get these refurbished and out to people who need them?

Thanks,

-Stewart

Hi Stewart,

Yes, the canvassers asked that question about 3 years ago in the original
door-to-door survey, and they asked that question again this year in their
door-to-door survey. We have that data and it is being used for both
research and for helping people get what they need.

If people don't have computers, we are referring them to the Parkland
program and to other local businesses with affordable computers, like Volo
Broadband's Digital Equality Initiative. There is also an extensive list
of these resources on the eBlackC-U web portal.

Good question,

-Brandon

Hi,

It just occurred to me.

At: http://uc2b.net/sign-up -- in the original inquiry form, there used to
be the question: "Do you own a computer?"

Do the canvassers ask the question, "Do you own a computer?"

What happens when the answer is "No"?

Thanks,

-Stewart
