Yeah, this will be awesome! I'm pretty sure all my weekend guests would have left by then so I can help staff.

Subject: [Imc-makerspace] Will You Table? | Girls Geek Out @ the WRC

We've been invited to do a “geek station” for this(see below)! Thoughts? Anyone want to help?

Jeff

Hey folks--

Still looking for folks interested in tabling and creating a "station" for girls from Don Moyer between 9-15 years old at the WRC as part of our campus-wide Black Geek Week! :)

Let me know if you're interested! It'll be a blast!

Greetings friends!

I’m writing to invite you and/or your organization/group to create a “geek station” (table) at our Girls Geek Out Fair at the Women’s Resources Center for girls ages 9-15 on Monday, Feb. 18th. Set-up is at 1:30pm and the fair goes from 2pm-4pm. We’re looking for organizations interested in setting up an activity at their table for participants to engage in! This could mean: comic drawing, games, taking things apart/putting things together, designing something, etc. You name it!

 Girls Geek Out @ the Women's Resources Center | Monday, Feb. 18th | 2pm-4pm

Part of Black Geek Week on campus, Girls Geek Out is a geek fair for young girls to explore their love of STEM and the Arts, technology, gaming, design, and their skills! Young girls will engage different geek stations set-up by campus and community organizations designed to celebrate the geek in all of us! Cosponsored by the Don Moyer Boys and Girls Club and the Women’s Resources Center and featuring stations from organizations throughout the campus-community.

If you’re organization can participate, please contact me at your earliest convenience to reserve your table.

Warmly,

Rachel
