[Imc-makerspace] Fwd: Innovation LLC Orientation

Hey everyone, we just got an invite from the Innovation
LLC<http://tec.illinois.edu/innovation-llc>group again to host an
orientation workshop with their students. It's in
august to we probably have a little time to respond but is their interest?

I will also add that Jennifer Bechtel, their director, has been pretty
active in promoting our events, offering to find students to help, and has
already be reposting about uc mini maker faire. So they seem like perhaps a
good group to interact with. Oh and she also made this Scary Normal
Movie<http://scarynormalmovie.com/> right
here in town.

Last year, Makerspace hosted a group of about 10 Innovation LLC students as
part of our new student orientation in August. They participated in a
soldering workshop and learned about how the Makerspace works.****

I was wondering if you might be willing to host at least one, possibly two
groups like this again.****

We have two 1 ½ hour blocks that we would like to fill for this part of
orientation:****

Thursday, August 22nd from 1:30-3pm and 3:30-5pm****

Would you have someone who could take a group of about 8-10 for one or both
of these sessions?****
