[Imc-makerspace] IMC Open House - looking for co-organizers

Hi all,

I working to organize an IMC Open House for Sept 21st contiguous (and
collaborative with) the Makerfaire.

*I am looking for at least 6 people to help organize the IMC Open House
with me.*

We signed up several hundred people at Quad Day and told them we would be
inviting them to an Open House in September to get involved. This is a
great opportunity to engage new people to the community and reengage our
long time friends and members.  All publicity for the Open House will also
invite people to the Makerfaire.

Rough proposal: Sept 21st 4-6pm with a tour, snacks, membership drive, and
a movie about Indymedia - open to ideas from an organizing committee.

*What are you committing to?*

   - One meeting in the next week.
   - One assignment - like cooking, getting supplies, set up, clean up,
   presenting on your working group.
   - Being present (and cheerful) during the open house.

Who wants to have fun and organize with me?  Please let me know by end of
day Wednesday.
