*ABOUT THE ARTIST*

Kousalya Jeganathan, also known by her artist's name, earthling, is a
filmmaker, visual artist, and poet hailing from Pondicherry, India. As part
of Accessible Horizon Films, she writes, edits, and directs short films and
documentaries. Most recently, she completed a Tamil feature length film
called 500&5 or Ayynoorum Aynnthum, which examines the whereabouts and
value placed on a 500 rupee note that changes hands 5 times. She is the
author of Reckless Perceptions, a collection of poetry and recently has
been exploring acrylic painting.
