Thanks for attending, everyone!  Here are a few notes from our meeting.

*) Opens
    -- UCIMC Board Meeting (Tuesday, Jan. 21, 5-7pm)
             #) No update, no one attended
    -- Noisebridge Anti-harassment policy update: posted on website!
    -- Mailing list move to @makerspaceurbana.org: no update
     -- Google Glass update
         $) About $400 came in for Google Glass
         $) MU will donate additional $200 which will bring up the total to
$800 (1/2 of the full Glass amount)
         $) Liz still to submit a reimbursement form
    -- Share pictures of MU with Palatine High School teacher
         $) Gergana will reply to him with link to MU Facebook page
    -- MU domain name renewals (thanks, Jeff and Jeremy!)
    -- New member nominations: Eric and Monica.  Passed with unanimous
'yes' vote.  Welcome to MU!

*) Membership/Financial Update
    -- Financial status
          $) Currently ok with over $3,000 in the bank; regular reports
posted on Google shared drive
         $) Please make sure to submit *all* expenses, even stuff you're
donating to the space
          $) At the next meeting, let's discuss where we need to be in
order to be sustainable
         $) Stripe account update (Erich): no update
          $) Membership levels: all done, need to be posted on the website
    -- Funding ideas
         $) Selling bike light cross-stitch kits on Etsy
             #) Monica will create an Etsy account for MU and will work
with Jeff on getting the cross-stitch kit on there
          $) Will ask keyholding members to donate more per month
temporarily:
             #) Would be best to have more members
         $) Will also do a general ask of anyone who has ever visited the
space
             #) Still waiting on Stripe to be setup
         $) Food Co-op round-up monthly donation: hold off until summer
         $) Py-CU workshop
         $) Yahoo! Employee Foundation (YEF) funding
             #) Needed a non-discrimination policy from the IMC, now have it
             #) Can now start following up with YEF
         $) Put up a "Did you enjoy the space?  Donate here" sign next to
the donation jar
             #) Gergana to print one out and bring it
         $) Should we have a wider range of soldering kits?
             #) Should have Atari punk consoles on hand, those were pretty
popular
             #) Barry will look into the RadioShack soldering kits
         $) Funding from Acorn Media for Help Desk
             #) No update
         $) Awesome Foundation grant (for TUFL workshops?)
             #) Emily and Gergana will work on getting it submitted
         $) 3D printing keychains for a $1
         $) We should have a list of 3D printer usage rules (including
donation amounts)
             #) Colten to follow-up

         $) Would like to upgrade the computers with extra RAM - MU
approved purchase
         $) Got another $90 from selling a couple more machines

    -- Py-CU's first year anniversary (Saturday, Feb. 1, 6-9pm)
    -- Working on project pitch night
    -- Looking to do the Python intro workshop again in the spring
    -- Every two weeks, Py-CU has a general meeting on Mondays

         $) No update, Gergana to follow-up with Dena
    -- Aromatherapy workshop with the food co-op (Emily)
         $) MU will sponsor it, will happen at the Co-op
    -- OTI/UIUC Senior Design project collaboration
         $) MU does not have to do anything
    -- Urbana's Market @ the Square 2014 applications available
         $) Art @ the Market: we were invited to do the t-shirt workshop
again
         $) Jeff will get an e-mail going with the current coordinator
    -- Skot from UIUC's ECE dept wants to do a 60 note polyphonic analog
synthesizer workshop
           #) Working on finalizing details; MU is interested in
participating
