     -- Post a list of workshops on the website: no update
     -- Make sure to close the window when you leave the space!
          $) *Barry will purchase a step ladder*

*) Membership/Financial Update
     -- Financial status and future plans
          $) Net income is over $5k
          $) Create a committee to work on expansion plans
               #) Will start planning for that in the fall
          $) Need a subscription service on the website (e.g. Stripe)
               #) For expediency, will move this from Erich to Jeff
               #) Group is ok with that
          $) Increase of monthly dues
               #) Suggestion to increase key-holding membership up to
$25/month
               #) Decision has majority - passed
               #) *Emily will clarify on the website that the space is free
during open hours*

          $) Selling bike light cross-stitch kits on Etsy: no update
          $) Will also do a general ask of anyone who has ever visited the
space: no update
          $) Py-CU workshop
               #) Introduction to Programming, 2nd Weekend of August, on
Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Elizabeth)
               #) Will happen after Elizabeth is back from the summer
          $) Funding from Acorn Media for Help Desk
               #) Will probably fund us but have not officially heard back
               #) Acorn Media can also do seed funding for a capital
campaign
          $) Awesome Foundation grant (for TUFL workshops?): no update
          $) 3D printing keychains for a $1
               #) Have a prototype ready
          $) Maybe do a Raspberry pi workshop kit (plus keyboard, mouse,
HDMI cable) and have it available for rent
          $) Create signs for:
               #) 3D printer usage rules (including donation amounts) with
3 options: $1, $3, $5
               #) Put up a "Did you enjoy the space?  Donate here" sign
next to the donation jar

     -- Still getting 1-2 new members each meeting (including a new
hack-night person due farmer's market table)

          $) MU open during the day (10am - 3pm), Emily presented at 7pm
     -- Table at the Market (7am-noon) + Garage Sale (10am - 4pm) on May 10

          $) Panel on Makerspaces & Illinois Emerging Technologies Report
          $) Emily and Colten participated on May 19th
          $) Talked to teachers from colleges around Illinois
          $) Dept of Education is thinking about doing a makerspace on
campus (in Armory)
     -- PyCU's Women's IT and Computing Open House (Saturday, May 31, 1-4pm)
          $) Small but a good start, great networking opportunity for local
organizations
          $) Consider Champaign Library or other more recognizable location
but at a different time of year

     -- Art @ the Market (July 12, 7am-noon)
          $) Need to start an ask for old t-shirts from people
     -- Bloomington Children's Museum workshop (July/August)
          $) Low-income camp: July 14-18, 4-6th graders
