[Imc-midwest-regional] Introduction

[Chris Kaihatsu]

Hi, I don't think I've introduced myself....

I'm Chris Kaihatsu, city boy, 28, from Chicago. I've been around
revolutionary socialist politics since the Gulf War, and had been active in
the ISO from about '92-'97. I have differences with the way the group
implements their politics, but I appreciate their political analysis of
history and their mostly practical academic work.

I've been with the Chicago IMC since it started in August of last year, and
have been fascinated by all it's accomplished, and in the way it's coming
together. I'm glad our group has been able to cover a few world-scale
events, like Quebec City and Cincinnati. We are still in the process of
pulling structures together, but I think it's been an excellent first year.
