hey!

as you may or may not know the new cleveland imc had a general meeting
planned for june 23. a couple of us had expressed interest in attending the
Underground Publishing Conference being put on by the folks at clamor
magazine at Bowling Green U this weekend (22-23).... 

i contacted the ppl at UPC and they told me there was a planned Indymedia
panel for saturday night being put on by the folks at the NYC imc. they put
me in touch with josh from nyc-imc, and he said, "...I look forward to
seeing you at the IMC panel. It will be a good opportunity for the
recently-formed Mich IMC, the newly-forming Pittsburgh IMC, and the
currently-re-forming Cleveland IMC to compare notes. A few NYC folks will
also be there, as well, and maybe some others."

considering that we havent had a lot of ppl showing up at our meetings
lately, i think it might be a good idea if we move our meeting to the UPC
this weekend, especially since there will prolly be a couple hundred ppl
there as opposed to the same 3 ppl that have been coming to the meetings
lately.

i emailed josh about the possiblity of sharing some table space and
participating in the panel.

(this may also be a good opportunity for some ppl that normally wouldnt get
to come to our meetings to find out more about indymedia, and the new
cleveland group)

anyway let me know what you think, any objections, etc. also let me know if
you want to hitch a ride out to UPC or if you can give me a lift. i was
planning on attending saturday and sunday.
