I have about 20 minutes of interviews with folks at the Parkland College
polling place, interviews at the Food Co-op and at University YMCA with
one fellow and our faithful pollwatcher, Sehvilla. I didn't make it
eleswhere because I was: tired
had a headache
and/or had all the election for one day that I could stand.

I think the results showed a strong showing for the Greens in Champaign
County, where they nearly achieved 5%. I saw Jim Buell doing an
interview on Ch 15 last night and was wondering if any one had managed
to get an interview for us on the election from a Green point of view? I
would be happy to arrange to make up for my failure to make it to
Brookens last night if this still needs to be done.

The Democratic majority on the County Board is the other big story I
wish I had been able to stay awake for. Has anyone been able to talk to
the Dems about things?

As for the Rep(tilian)s, I couldn't stomach the idea of talking to them,
a personal weakness of mine, but maybe it's not that important and the
News-Gazette will probably cover their side anyway?
