We should cover this event.  Maybe we can tie the Mother Jones dinner in
with the coal miner strikes happening in indiana right now.  The stories
I've read remind me of Mother Jones's struggles to unionize coal miners in
the 1890s.

Hello Everyone,

Good to see everyone who turned out for the Labor Day parade.

I would like to inform anyone who isnt already aware that the annual
Mother Jones dinner in Springfield IL. is on Saturday Oct. 6th. I am
planning on attending and I would like to know if anyone else is
interested in going ? Tickets are $ 25.00 and it is an evening event ( I
believe starting at 6pm, I will find out for sure ). This year Anne Feeney
( Labor / folkrock performer ) will be the scheduled entertainment.
