While Bush was on his Jan. 8 victory tour promoting the education bill,
somone in the U. New Hampshire audience confronted him. Here's how the NY
TImes reported it in paragraphs 21 and 22 of a 22-paragraph story. I
believe the speech is on-line at the white house website,
www.whitehouse.gov/news/

One discordant note today came during Mr. Bush's remarks at the University
of New Hampshire in Durham when a young man stood up in the crowd in the
gymnasium and called out loud enough for the president to hear: "What about
the dead Afghani children, Mr. Bush? What about the dead Afghani children?"

The unidentified heckler, who was evidently referring to civilians killed
during the American bombing campaign in Afghanistan, was silenced by what
appeared to be another member of the audience, an older man, who came up
from behind him, firmly put a hand on what appeared to be the heckler's
head or shoulder, and pushed him down. The president paused slightly, but
continued with his speech.
