Editor wanted:

The Earth First! Journal, located in sunny Tucson, Arizona, has an
opening for a new member of our editorial staff. It could be you.

Being a part of the Journal is full of rewards-working on a consensus
basis with a tight five-person collective among a supportive
community to publish a magazine essential to the radical
environmental movement.

Our new long-term editor ideally will have a strong environmental
ethic, publishing experience, be personally compatible with existing
staff, have pounds of patience, be computer literate, have excellent
editing skills and have a sense of humor. As a collective, all of the
work is shared, so a motivated, hard-working individual is required!

To apply, send your resume and a letter of interest to the Earth
First! Journal, POB 3023, Tucson, AZ 85702. Please forward a writing
sample and activist history. If you have any questions, please call
or email.

Article Submissions Wanted:

What's going on with the environment in your community? What
environmental/environmental justice campaigns are you working on? Do
you have exciting ideas for new strategies and tactics for direct
action, alliance building and movement building? Write an article for
the Earth First! Journal!

We are looking for articles focusing on resistance and action
concerning national, local and international environmental and
environmental justice issues. We are also looking for movement
commentary/analysis, as well as graphics, photos and poetry dealing
with environmental-action themes. Deadlines are the first day of
odd-numbered months. Please call or email if you have questions.

Regional Contact People Needed:

Can you be a contact person for your city, town or bioregion to help
solicit articles from individuals and organizations working on
environmental/environmental justice campaigns?
