This program looks interesting, and might be useful in WEFT's public
affairs programming. Steven Hill has spoken at the IMC in the past.

I thought you might be interested to know that a presentation I gave
about the subject of my book "Fixing Elections" for NPR's "Cambridge
Forum" at Harvard University will be available for download by all
public radio stations which have satellite downlinks starting March
28th, this Friday (it is also available on audiotape for stations that
do not have the satellite downlink).

NPR's Cambridge Forum is taped before a live audience, with a Q&A
segment, and the show is about a half hour in duration. It was a lot of
fun to do, and hopefully it will help to educate listeners about the
pernicious impacts of our winner-take-all system. So contact your local
radio station and ask them to air this segment in which I show why and
how our elections are "fixed," and what people can do to take back our
democracy.

Here's the information needed to broadcast Cambridge Forum. From what I
am told, if you give this information to your local radio station, they
will know what to do.

Availability: All public stations which have satellite access
can obtain Cambridge Forum FREE via the NPR/Galaxy 6 satellite. Programs
are fed weekly.

Feed Time: Fridays 13:00-13:29 on digital frequency A 71.5

Program Length: 29 minutes

Please note: Stations should notify Cambridge Forum prior to broadcast
of series. Program may be taped for later use and may be repeated as
desired.

Both commercial and public radio stations which do not have satellite
downlinks can receive weekly Cambridge Forum broadcast tapes at the
minimal cost of $65 per quarter. To order, stations should contact
Cambridge Forum directly.
