Hi,

Do any of you have plans to go to the NFCB conference in Albuquerque, NM?  If
so, would you be willing to help Free Speech Radio News staff a booth?  We've
been invited to do a workshop on Investigative Reporting.  Could you help
with this?  The dates of this event are April 21st to April 24th.  Please respond
to steeringcom at fsrn.org.  We are working up a small budget for this event and
if you need help to get there let us know.  All of you KUMN reporters, we
would especially like to know if you will be there.

There is a special youth (mostly high school) track for this conference.
Fees are $100.  Young people can apply for a scholarship for hotel and
transportation if you apply before Feb 18.  Non-youth fees can run as high as $500. The
deadline for early (cheapest) non-youth registration is Feb 25.  If you work
with a radio station who is a member of NFCB, the fees are cheaper.
