Subject: Making Contact's 3rd quarter call for submissions: Oceans, oil,
global warming, nuclear war and more!

Greetings to all you lovely independent radio producers & freelancers out there in the world,

Making Contact is putting out our quarterly call for submissions!

Read below about about some of our upcoming shows and send us your pitches for 7-10 minute segments and 29-minute documentaries. Or, have you got some raw tape you think we might like? Send it!

As always, Making Contact is all about bringing listeners the stories and voices that are missed by the mainstream, through sound-rich, in-depth programs that link the personal with the political, and that show rather than tell.

Have you worked with us before? Please get in touch, because we'd love to hear what you're up to.

Never worked with us before? Please introduce yourself! Share your work! I'm just a phone call -- yes, phone call -- away. (A recent study has shown that excessive e-mailing is actually worse for your noggin than smoking pot! See Mark Morford's humorous take on the finding: http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/g/a/2005/05/13/notes051305.DTL).

And please do check out National Radio Project's fabulous new web site: www.radioproject.org
