[Imc-radio] IMC General Membership Meeting, Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7pm

Hello Everyone,
This is a reminder that the IMC's fall general membership meeting will 
be this Thursday, October 6 at 7pm at the IMC. If you haven't visited 
the IMC since the purchase of the new building at 202 South Broadway in 
downtown Urbana, please use the Elm St. entrance, down the steps to the 
lower level.

GMMs typically run about an hour and a half, depending on the agenda 
items and last minute items that may be added to it.

After the GMM, you are invited to party at the WRFU fundraiser at the 
Cowboy Monkey in Champaign.  Doors will open at 9pm. TIckets are $6.

Featured bands are:

The Tractor Kings
Shipwreck
The Infinity Room
Local DJs, including The NoiseBoy

The show will include a raffle with prizes ranging from restaurant 
certificates to CDs from local artists. All proceeds will go toward the 
WRFU "barn raising" in November.

While typically the IMC has sent out postcard reminders in the past for 
GMMs, a variety of circumstances resulted in this not being 
accomplished. As with all IMC efforts, the responsibility for such work 
falls to the entire membership, in terms of volunteer availability. Your 
effort to help with the many such tasks as this is welcomed.
