-----
By November of this year, the IMC will open its performance and community
space, and Radio Free Urbana will go on the air. This will co-incide with
the international RFU radio barnraising November 11-13 at the IMC.

Attached are images of our architect's proposed changes to the first floor
and lower level. These are also posted in the IMC meeting space, lower
level of the post office, north entrance.

Red indicates Phase 1 changes to be complete by Nov, 2005. These include:

- create an appealing front entrance to the IMC's meeting, production, and
performance space.
- provide a visible presence for an RFU studio with easy, 24/7 access.
- divide the post office from the rest of the IMC space maintaining public
access to post boxes and the post office access to a workroom, dock, and
shared bathrooms.

Orange indicates Phase 2 changes to be complete in 2006. These include:

- adding accessible bathrooms on the first floor
- adding a staircase to provide additional egress for a retail tenant.

IMC members and the public have FIVE ways to participate in finalizing the
design for the space.

between now and September 28th.

2) Post comments under the blueprints hanging in the IMC meeting space.

discuss.

4) Come to the space meeting, Wednesday, Sept 28 8 PM @ IMC meeting room
to help finalize plans.

IMC meeting room to do a final sign off.

At the membership meeting, Saturday, Oct 1 the membership will be asked to
review plans and give future input.

Construction is going out for bid on Monday, October 3rd.
