[Imc-tech] Front windows machine...

Ok, I took a shot at installing the front windows machine with Linux,
but it has a non-standard CD-ROM drive, so I have to try again once I
get find second floppy.

I also think there's something else wrong with it other than windows. I
put in a 180Mhz Pentium chip, and windows was still crawling, and the
beginning of the Linux install (as far as I could get with just a bootdisk)
wasn't very quick either. I only have a K6-300 here at home, and its easily a
dozen times faster than that thing, maybe more. The menus that were
taking 30 or 40 seconds to come up on the Linux install on it are
almost instantaneous here.

I saw someone had put together a 200-233Mhz pentium MMX minus a nic? (or was
that mislabeled?) Perhaps we could scrap the computer in the front, put
its ram and nic into that one and see if its any better?
