[Imc-tech] new MD recorder status?

hi all,

just curious about what the status of the new MD recorder that cope
replaced the old one with.  also, is anyone interested in playing around
with the old one?  apparantly only the laser is messed up -- now, lasers
are fairly cheap (paying someone to install it is the expensive part); but
more importantly, you couldn't do any more harm to the MD to take it
apart. is anyone curious in attempting a fix?
