Due to repeated hacking/spamming attacks on the Newswire, it has been
placed on auto-hide. This means that all new posts and comments are
automatically hidden. The Newswire will be constantly monitored and
legitamte posts will be unhidden ASAP. However, it may take a few
minutes, during the day, to a few hours, during late nights, for your
articles and comments to be unhidden and appear on the Newswire. Please
be assured the Tech group is working hard to keep the Newswire a usable
resource, in spite of these attacks.

A full discussion of the issues and reasons why this was invoked in
accordance with IMCpolicy will be held at the Steering group meeting at
noon on Sunday.
