Fixed; thanks for the bug report.  Note that it wouldn't have worked
for the donation story anwyay, because that was a gif, and we can't
create thumbnails of gifs.  But I grabbed the gif, turned it into a
png, and re-edited the story to include the png, so it now has a
thumbnail.
