FYI:

A few days ago I lowered the max length of Kb of a message body to 15k.
I'm bringing this up since there was some discussion about this issue on
the tech e-mail list.  I had done the same on the global communications,
finance, new-imc, and donations lists and found that it filtered out most
(though not all) of the incomming spam while still letting most personal
e-mails through.  But please keep this in mind when replying to messages.
Also, all IMC lists have the option to be digested (you receive one e-mail
message a day with a table of contents of all the day's messages), which
will lower the number of e-mails you receive.

Hopefully this change will at least ease the spam problem without stopping
most relevant posts from going through -- thus far it has been successful.
